Dr. Juan Carlos Lopez-Delgado
is an intensivist at Hospital Clínic de Barcelona and Associate Professor at the University of Barcelona. His international clinical and research activities focus on medical nutrition therapy in critically ill patients, particularly enteral and parenteral nutrition, gastrointestinal dysfunction, metabolism, and individualized nutrition strategies in the ICU.
He coordinates national working groups in critical care nutrition and actively contributes to ESICM and ASPEN initiatives. Dr. Lopez-Delgado has authored more than 45 peer-reviewed publications and is involved in several multicenter studies in the field of ICU nutrition.
