Prof. Giorgina Piccoli
is a nephrologist, who studied medicine at the University of Torino, Italy, where she worked in different positions; lastly as an aggregate professor and responsible for the Nephrology Unit in the San Luigi Hospital, Torino. She is currently Head of the Nephrology Service at Centre Hospitalier Le Mans, France, and Associate Professor of Nephrology at the University of Angers.
Prof. Piccoli has authored more than 400 publications and currently serves as Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Nephrology, the international journal of the Italian Society of Nephrology. Her main research interests include kidney disease and pregnancy, Conservative therapy in advanced CKD, nutrition in CKD, and green nephrology.
