Dr. Diana Cardenas
is a medical doctor holding a Master’s degree in Science and Nutrition from Université Paris Diderot, a Master’s degree in Political Science and International Relations from Université de Lyon, and a PhD in Philosophy from Université Franche-Comté, France. She currently works at the Nutrition Unit at Gustave Roussy Cancer Center, where she develops multimodal prehabilitation programs for patients with cancer. Her research focuses on malnutrition in cancer and the links between ethics and human rights in clinical nutrition.
Dr. Cardenas serves as Ethics Editor for the ESPEN journals (Clinical Nutrition, Clinical Nutrition ESPEN, and Clinical Nutrition Open Science). She also leads the International Working Group for the Patient’s Right to Nutritional Care.
